The Executive board is responsible for overseeing the organization’s activities, setting policies, and providing strategic direction. The board will consist of individuals with diverse backgrounds and expertise relevant to Baza development and will be in number 8-13 people and can include some of the directors. Its responsibilities also includes reviewing CEO reports which should be produced (twice a year?) as well as urgent issues as raised by the CEO.

The Executive Board of BAZADA  is responsible for providing governance and strategic leadership to the organization. Generally, the board:

  1. Sets the organization’s mission, vision, and strategic direction: The board decides what our organization is about and where we’re headed.
  2. Establishes policies and procedures: The board makes the rules and ensures we follow legal and ethical requirements.
  3. Appoints and supervises the CEO: The board appoints a responsible person to run the organization, sets goals, and evaluates their performance.
  4. Keeps tabs on our finances, approves the budget, and makes important financial decisions.
  5. Helps in getting more resources by using their connections, and bringing in sponsorships.
  6. Keeps track of how well we’re doing by reviewing reports and staying updated with the CEO.
  7. Represents BAZADA to important organizations and builds relationships to promote work of BAZADA.
  8. Recruits new members, provides orientation about Bazada, so as to bring a diverse and strong team to achieve the missions of the organization.
  9. Plans for and protects the organization from potential risks and disasters.
