BAZADA’s Women’s Program is a comprehensive initiative focused on empowering women in Baza communities, where they often face marginalization, in every realm of living. The program is structured around several key pillars: health and wellness, education-skill enhancement, economic empowerment, access to finance and social and cultural engagement.

Women’s health and well-being are another focal point of the program. BAZADA is dedicated to promoting aspects of women’s health, such as reproductive health and general healthcare services. The organization conducts awareness campaigns on various women’s health issues, ensuring that women have the necessary information and resources to make informed decisions about their health. This aspect of the program is vital in fostering a healthy community where women can thrive both personally and professionally.

To further support women’s economic empowerment, BAZADA will conduct various training sessions and workshops. These sessions focus on enhancing women’s skills and knowledge in critical areas such as entrepreneurship, financial literacy, marketing, business planning, and leadership. The organization also identifies relevant training opportunities and collaborates with external trainers or experts to provide a broad and impactful learning experience for women in the community.

The program also puts strong emphasis on women’s economic empowerment and entrepreneurship. BAZADA developed a program that provides comprehensive training and capacity-building programs, along with mentorship opportunities. These initiatives are designed to equip women with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in business. By offering access to finance and resources, as well as business development support, BAZADA creates an environment where women’s entrepreneurial endeavors can flourish.

Recognizing that women entrepreneurs frequently struggle to secure financial support, BAZADA collaborates with Microfinance Institutions (MFIs) to provide these women with much-needed access to finance. This initiative is fundamental in enabling women to start and grow their businesses, thereby strengthening their economic base. By empowering women financially, BAZADA aims to reduce the gender gap in entrepreneurship and create more inclusive economic growth.

An integral part of BAZADA’s Women’s Program is the Women’s Social and Cultural Engagement. This initiative recognizes the importance of women’s roles in the social and cultural fabrics of their communities. By creating spaces where women can engage in social and cultural activities, BAZADA not only strengthens the community bonds but also promotes the recognition and appreciation of women’s contributions to society.
